About

I am a Research Fellow in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, working at the intersection of anthropology, sustainability and design.

My research examines the relationships between people, places and material infrastructures, particularly how these relationships shape decision-making, justice and change.

With a background in social anthropology and training in social impact assessment, I use interdisciplinary, participatory methods across ethnography, public engagement, and exhibition-making.

I’m especially interested in how creative and historically informed approaches, rooted in design history, heritage, and the cultural politics of place, can support more just, grounded, and imaginative responses to environmental and social challenges.
